Help!!!

So we just got back from a cruise. It was so much fun and it gave Taylor and I some great time together. I really missed Jaxon and was so excited to see him when I flew back to detroit to pick him up from Taylors parents. And obviously they grow so fast and do so much, while we were gone, Jaxon starting crawling, and on occasion will say Dada!!! can you believe that!!! after spending the last 7 month saying mama several times a day, he says dada!!! but i have come to the conclusion that it is simply just easier for them to say it...lol..... atleast it maked me feel better!!!

So this is what i need help with. Jaxon has also discovered his legs!!! he now stands up in his crib and will not go to sleep for like and hour and i have to rock him to sleep, he also doesnt sleep through the night anymore because he just wants to get up and hold on to his crib and has not figured out how to sit back down, so he just stands and cries. I am so worried that he falls back and hits his head , which he has done already....twice......WHAT DO I DO??? any advice from moms out there who have dealt with this??????

Love....... and more.....

I feel like I have so much to be grateful for other than valentines day this month. my baby is healthy, my husband is doing great, and we are living the life here in California :)
I have been so demotivated to blog lately... who knows why, but I enjoy reading everyone elses blogs that I feel like I need to update ours to give my loyal blog followers ( Like 2)....lol something to read!

So a couple of weeks ago we went to Utah for the Platinum draft to pick a city and.....drum roll!!!! we are going to Buffalo, New York! I am still trying to figure out whether I am excited about it or not. I was excited at first, because it's New York...right?, but .. it's 6 hours away from New York City :(
I am most upset though that I am going to be the only Rep wife there....talk about a lonely summer, so if any of my fellow summer platinum wives want to make a trip to the Big Apple, count me in...lol. I do have Jaxon to keep me company though and he is getting so big, so I will be able to take him to do fun stuff!!

I remain hopeful about Buffalo!!!!

so... on valentines day i decided to take my husband golfing, it was my first time and i killed it..lol!! killed the poor golf course i mean, i was awful.
I did try look the part though, and as usual my husband looks so hot in his golf gear! We went golfing the friday before valentines, then on Tuesday Becca Burnside and I took the liberty of making reservations at the melting pot and then we told our husbands that it was their treat to us....lol.
And for the first time I had a baby sitter from the young women, which I said I would never do!!!, but it was fun to go on a double date without Jaxon, but I do love him!!!

At the melting pot!

And ofcourse, what would a post be without an update about Jaxon. He is getting so big!!!! I love making him laugh, he has started snorting and it cracks me up...!!! He can get on his hands and knees, but is not sure how to move yet, so we are going to have a little crawler on our hands soon:)
Jaxon will be 7 months next week!

Six months Later............

Then

And......

 Now!!!!

How bittersweet it has been to watch our little Jax grow. It is so exciting watching him learn new things!!! Jaxon is 6 months old today!!!!, He is so much fun, but has definitely found his vocal chords and loves to use them. He can now roll over both ways and rolls all over the place, even off the bed :(. He can sit up all by himself and loves solids, although he has been a little constipated and grunts all day. I am a little  nervous for when he starts crawling, he is going to be all over, he is such and observer and loves to touch everything and obviously everything he touches goes in his mouth...lol, and yesterday he started drinking from a sippy cup and is still not sure how it works, but he is eagerly trying to figure it out.

We are still loving it here in California and we are excited to be finding out where we are going for the Summer in two weeks, when we go to Utah for the draft. Not excited for the snow though!!!!

Taylor put Jax ontop of the staircase... so cute. Jaxon is sitting up all by himself now, which makes shopping and eating out so much easier. The car seat gets so heavy!!!!

its about that time!!!

So its about that time to update our blog. My little baby is down for a nap and i have a minute or two to spare so here goes......

We had a great christmas in Michigan, the whole family was there!!!. There were 14 of us for two weeks in Taylors' parents home. Our activities over the the break included caroling, games , Christmas eve dinner, great dinners every night, bowling, and a great Christmas day!!!! I did miss my family though, it was my first Christmas in a while being away from my family.

This is the whole family at the bowling alley.

An update about Jaxon!!!!
Jaxon has grown so fast in the last two months. He now is 5 months old...how time flies!!!
He is rolling over from his back to his belly and he is officially eating from a spoon. This week is his first week and we are on peas.....i don't know how babies eat this stuff. Jaxon also loves teething biscuits and did i mention that he has his two bottom teeth already!!!!

I love this little boy!!!!

Where does the time go????

So......... i finally have a minute to update our blog on the happenings of our lives since our little boy arrived. He has been such a great joy and blessing, He is three and a half months and growing way to quickly. I love watching him learn new things every day.  So much has happened since the last time i blogged that it would be hard to type everything, so i am attempting to update with pictures.......

Jaxon was blessed on Sunday 29th of August, 2010. Taylors' Family came to celebrate this special day with us!!!!

We spend a couple of days in San Antonio with my family. Jaxon got to hangout with his cousins Addison and Tavin.

We hiked the Y with Jaxon. Our first family exercise!!!!, I made it to the 5th turn and wanted to quit, it was the first workout since Jaxon, but my amazing husband cheered me on and we made it to the top. The view is amazing!!!!
We had a girls night out at witches night out. It was my first time and it was awesome, definitely need to make this a yearly tradition.

We decided to go on a little vacation to the sunny state of California. We got to see the San Diego temple, which is definitely my favorite temple.
We spent the day in San diego Sea world with the Burnsides!!!!!

Jaxon got his first experience of the ocean at Newport beach, The water was so cold, he was not very happy with us when we put his feet in the water.

Lol, this was in front of one of the beach homes in Venice Beach, "Worlds smallest front yard" I thought it was pretty funny.

We are now in Michigan till Thanksgiving and then we will be moving to California!!!! I am a little nervous about the move, but we are gonna make the best of it, at least I get to go to the beach everyday!!!

Jaxons story and the events of our summer

                                                   Jaxon Ryder Seibold
                           Born:         28th July, 2010
                           Height:    21 inches
                           Weight:  8.06 lbs
                            Time:     4:23 pm

So i finally have a minute to update everyone on jaxons debut. He was born at 39 weeks, i chose to be induced a week early. I went into the hospital at 5;30 in the morning and they started the oxytosin, i started feeling contractions around 11 am and called the nurse for my epidural. About an hour after the epidural was given i could feel the contractions again, so they gave me another dose of the epidural. After the second dose, i went completely numb and could not feel my legs and toes or move them at all. I called the nurse at about 2 and told her that i was starting to feel alot of pressure and i felt like i needed to push. The nurse told me that she couldnt do anything because i was still numb and wouldnt be able to feel anything or push, so she turned my epidural off and 2 hours later i was ready to go. the nurse came in and i started pushing at about 4, the nurse told me that he was ready to come out, but i had to stop pushing because my doctor was not there. A few minutes later my doctor came in, and 3 pushes later my little boy was out. It was the most painful and amazing feeling in the world,My epidural had worn off and so i could feel everything, but it was amazing when they put jaxon on my chest as soon as he was born.

I was able to go home 2 days later and we are doing great. I am exhausted but he is so worth it. Taylor is such a good daddy and has been amazing at helping me out at night with the little guy. I think he still has his nights and days mixed up but we are working on his schedule. I was also fortunate enough to have my parents visit us in denver for the arrival of Jaxon and week after them Taylors mom, so i have had a ton of help.

Besides for the wonderful little person that has been added to our family, Colorado has been great. We have three weeks left of the summer and then we go to Philly or Houston????
Taylor also participated in another triathlon here in Colorado with Blake Nuttal, and they both did great. Taylor came second in his weight division and again it makes me so happy to see him so excited about something.
